Ah, the good old Thatcherite values. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says her party will ban strikes by all NHS doctors if they return to power.I suppose the good thing is, the Tories will NEVER return to power.
How stupid would you have to be not to see the results of this ‘policy’? Straight away, after training, doctors either leave the country for better pay and conditions, or if not, go in to private practice, leaving the NHS with NO doctors. Then again, that’s the real aim isn’t it? Another step in the privitisation of a health service that was once the envy of the world, and a further step towards the US private system, where you get treated according to how much you can pay, and even then you could end up bankrupt for simply being sick.
Don’t fall for this further erosion of your rights, support the doctors.
